Doctors generally forbid pregnant ladies to use harsh chemicals, dyes, medicines and cosmetics, as these can be prove harmful for both the mother and the embryo. As the woman delivers the baby, the level of enzyme become normal and the hair falling speed suddenly increases, but you must not worry about it as after the first round of shedding, you get your normal hairs.

  • Hair Coloring: Try to avoid any sort of hair coloring including temporary dyes, semi-permanent dyes and permanent dyes, as all sorts of dyes and even readymade henna have mild to harsh chemical component. Use fresh herbal henna leaves or powder for giving a gradient shade to your hair.
  • Colour Bleaches: Colour bleaches contain harsh chemical hydrogen peroxide used for de-colorization.
  • Curling: Avoid the use of machines in hair curling. The permanent waves are created by placing two solutions on the hair. The first solution is a waving solution and the second is a neutralization/fixation solution. You can use the hair rollers for making temporary hair curling.
  • Relaxers: Like hair curling, do not use hair straightening, as it involves variety of chemicals and waves and heat of the machines.
