How health of hair depends on blood circulation

We are well aware of all the biological ills one can go through due to a poor blood circulation in one's body, but what so many of us don't realize that a poor blood circulation leads to glaring problem of hair loss or even aggravate the problem of those who are already suffering from it. Inadequate blood and the lack of oxygen, nutrients cause hair follicles to shrink and hair to thin and gradually die. Stress is one of the main reasons for this condition because when we are in stress, it tightens our nerves and muscles thus restricting the flow of blood to various parts of the body. This causes the capillaries that supply blood to the roots and follicles of hair to slender down thus restricting the flow further.

Hair follicles are covered by some specks, which are necessary for hair perspiration and sebum. These specks are hardened and when they foul up the hair follicles, they cause the tissues to harden up as well. This restricts the blood flow to the follicle; this situation can be avoided by rinsing hair with vinegar or lemon juice. There are also some hair gels available to prevent these specks. Sebum cause hair fall because it contains DHT and we can use Chlorophyll to eliminate sebum. So by ensuring that there is enough circulation of blood and oxygen to hair follicles, we are promoting the growth of hair follicles and also negating any harmful effects of DHT hormones.

As discussed earlier, stress causes the nerves and muscles to tighten and thus restrict the blood flow. In such cases, massage is the best remedy. Oil massage on the scalp or a neck massage can do wonders to bust stress. One should also ensure to keep himself fit by indulging in activities and exercises. Exercises stimulate the flow of blood to the head. We should avoid scratching or rubbing the scalp as it damages the scalp and results in hair falling out.
