Benefits of Brushing your hair in a proper way
Well, don't we all spend hours in front of the mirror to get that perfect look? We seem to have all the time in the world when it comes to brushing our hair, even getting late for work seems inconsequential. What we don't realize is that by brushing our hair in the right manner, we are doing much more than just styling. It does have its benefits on the health of our hair.
Debris on our scalp causes dandruff and brushing is a great way to get rid of that debris. Deposits of uric acid grain like particles causes inflammation other acids and impurities that build up also form a coating on the scalp. Brushing helps to remove the deposits and prevent any kind of inflammation or blisters on the scalp. Brushing also stimulates the scalp by increasing blood circulation and the flow of oxygen to the hair roots or hair follicles. But how we benefit the most from brushing of hair is that it keeps the pores on scalp open so that it can breathe as well as retain their natural oils.
Sebaceous glands are oil-producing glands that fabricate sebum. The imbalance in the functioning of these glands results in overproduction or underproduction of sebum. Overproduction of sebum causes too much oil produced, which interferes with the growth of hair follicles. This weakens the hair and thus results in hair loss. In case of underproduction of sebum, hair follicles are undernourished. This makes hair rough and dry, which finally results in hair falling out.
One needs to some basic method to be employed while brushing the hair. Fist of all, hair should be checked for tangles. Forcing our comb through the tangles may lead to weakening of the roots and thus falling of hair and you sure don't want that, do you? Stand erect and then bend over from the waist. Hair is suspended in the downward direction and it stimulates the circulation to the scalp, promoting the growth of hair follicles. Easy gentle strokes should be made from the crown downwards. It loosens the debris as we move towards the front facial hairline. The same process can be followed in the reverse direction.
So before you start contemplating other ways for your hair care, give some attention to how you comb your hair.
